I'll tell you that my wife and I could not have been happier with our experience with Vickie and her Team Elite partner Julia in the process of selling our home. Here's a little background: Just a year earlier, we attempted to sell our home through John Greene Realty and agent Joel Kirstein, and process was a complete disaster. We were promised continued communication and that our house was appropriately priced. Yet, just a few days into our contract, we were encouraged to drop our price, and we never received any follow up information from any of our showings. At the time of meeting with the rrpresntatives from John Greene, we were told that open houses were a waste of time. However, when the showings weren't happening, Joel suggested having open houses, and then we were pawned off to one of the new guys in their office whenever they had an open house (and again, we never got any feedback). When we finally landed a buyer, it was under very sketchy conditions with a buyer who clearly could not afford to buy our house. Yet, Joel advised we enter into a contract anyway. We were forced to move out of our home within 2 weeks of accepting a contract and for a sale that after 37 days from the original closing date, eventually fell through anyway. After living with my parents for the next three month and having no action on our home, we ended up moving back in for another year. So therefore, when it came time to try to sell our home again, we were very skeptical of potential agents, but thank God for Vickie. We screened multiple agents, as you are currently doing. Vickie adjusted her schedule to meet with us at a time we found convenient. When we agreed on a contract, she had a sign in or window the next day, and we were on the internet with a virtual tour within 48 hours. When it came to showings, Vickie informed us in advance so we could make adequate arrangements for our dog. She followed up with each of the showing agents and us in a very prompt fashion (usually within hours of the showing). We had two potential buyers within 2 weeks. One buyer, however, was attempting to low ball us, which Vickie and Julia snuffed out right away. Eight months later, I still feel we received a very fair price for our home, especially when they squeezed an extra $1000 out of our buyer in the final stages of negotiation. I have recommended Vickie and Julia to all of my former neighbors. I realize that you and I have never met before, so you have the option to take my opinion or leave it. I will tell you that I am receiving no compensation from Vickie for providing this recommendation, and I assure you that this is my honest, and unbiased opinion that I have elected to offer solely out of my satisfaction for the service that she provided. However, if you are truly considering multiple options for agents to list your home with, Vickie an Julia get my full endorsement. If I were to sell my current home any time soon, I would call them in an instant. I realize that this may have been far more than you originally asked for, but if you have any additional questions feel free to contact me at any time.

Relocation >Moving Companies
Contacting different moving companies is one of the first steps in moving to a new house. You will find a variety of service options and price ranges from which to choose, whether you are moving across town or thousands of miles across the country.
Call several companies for estimates. Ask each company exactly how their charges are calculated and what is included. How much insurance is included in the estimate? What is the cost for additional coverage? Are there special provisions for fragile or unusually valuable items? Is the delivery date guaranteed?
If economizing is important to you, ask if there are ways to cut down on the cost by providing your own boxes and packing your household goods by yourself. Household movers are competitive, and comparison shopping can help you get the best value for your moving dollars.
